Season: March until June
Most of the visitors come for the famous Sahara desert, the ancient cities or for a surf on the coast. We take you through the mountains by trekking and rafting. It's the only way to see the pure berber villages. Only a few hours from Europe and you are in a different world.

The journeyDay 1: Meeting point at the airport. Only 15 min drive to the old town. After a welcoming mint tea we head outside to discover the night life at the Jamaa EL Fna Plaza and try the fantastic local cooked freshly food. Stay overnight in a Riad (Maroccan traditional house).
Day 2: After breakfast we explore the old part of the city of Marrakesh. The most exciting part is the "souks". Its a maze filled up with shopping malls. Overnight in a Riad. Day 3: After breakfast we pack up and drive to the Atlas mountains. On the way we stop at the cascade "d'Ouzout". Its the most famous waterfall in Morocco with monkeys jumping on our table while we are having lunch. After 6 houres we finally reach our berber camp with a welcoming tea before the "Tajine". Day 4: Today you will be in Momo's hands, our trekking guide. While walking through an amazing landscape he will tell you how the indiginous people adapted themself to the mountains. At the end of the day you will be camping in a tent under the stars. Day 5: We wake up with the sunrise in our face and slowly walk back to our berber camp. Day 6: Cultural day with a cooking class. We will see how people live on the fields and in clay houses. To thank their hospitality you can bring old clothes or things you don't need. After dinner with the families we head back to our berber camp. Day 7: Today its white water rafting day. After safety instructions we practise and float down rapids all day (class3/4). After the biggest rapid (class4) we stop for a sandwich by the river. At the end of the day we set up our camp in a massive canyon with a bonfire, a nice meal and drinks. You will sleep under stars like you've never seen before. Day 8: Nothing better than waking up with a fresh air and morning sunlight by the river. We float down for 3 houres in the canyon with blue, green magical water (class1/2). We will have lunch on the boat and then head back to the riad in Marrakesh. Day 9: For those who fancy another cultural day we can head out to the Ourika valley (optional) which is only 30 min drive from Marrakesh. We will visit a berber house where mama Fatima, 70 years old, will welcome you with a berber mint tea and bread. Then we'll go for a walk to a waterfall and have a local tajine with our feet in the river. Or you can have a resting day. Day 10: We fly back home. Thanks to everyone. Its the end of the adventure... |
