3 days Merzouga desert, Morocco
Itinerary: "3 days Merzouga desert"
Day 1: The Merzouga trip starts at about 7am in Marrakech. We collect you from your accommodation and drive towards Ouarzazate via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260 m). The first stop will be for breakfast after about an hour of driving from Marrakech. After crossing the high Atlas the biggest stop will be at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah -the place of the movies- after souvenir photos,we have lunch at a nice restaurant at the foot of the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. After lunch we continue driving to Ouarzazate city – the gate to the desert – capital of the movie industry in Morocco. After Ouarzazate we will drive along the road of thousand Kasbah and Kasbah keep your eyes open to see the beautiful Oasis of Skoura, we will make a short stop at La valley of the roses to discover how the local people make the local perfumes from the water of the rose. In the late afternoon we will be at Dades Valley we stay at one beautiful hotel near by the gorges.
Day2: In the morning we will wake up at around 8 we will have breakfast and we continue our driving toward Toudra Gorge a very nice place for a visit after lunch we drive to Merzouga the gate to the dunes , here we stop at the hotel if you like a short swim before ride camels for two hours till the camp, the nomads will make some welcome mint tea for you then you go to the dunes to take pictures for the sun set we come back to our tents for diner then the nomads will play the drums around the fire under amazing sky , we sleep under the nomads tents .
Day3: In the morning we will wake you up 30 min before the sun rise after that you ride camels back to the hotel for the breakfast and a quick shower and we drive all the way back to Marrakesh.
